With a fuel capacity of 8.5 gallons, the powerful 1150cc v-Twin engine and featuring a protective fairing, Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 NTX has been designed to be a long distance globe trotter. The Stelvio has reached a completely new level of technical and functional upgrade on Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 NTX. Engine and Performance: At the heart of Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 NTX lies a 90 degree V-Twin , 4-stroke, 1151cc engine that has been mated to a six speed gearbox. The unit can easily generate a power of 105HP at 7250rpm and 83.3 Ft. Lbs. of Torque at 5800rpm. The engine is quite silent and smooth and careful attention has also been paid to the electronic control, cooling system and the timing system. The motorcycle has brand new integrated ignition and injection ECU that exploits the signals sent by the pair of lambda probes to ensure adequate feeding throughout the combustion process, thus improving the throttle control. Design: Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 NTX has a streamlined design with a rounded fuel tank and light weight half-fairing. This new half fairing significantly improves the wind protection and it flows seamless into the twin assembly of headlights. The brand new elements that grant this superb bike with an all new look are the front fairing, the half fairing and the windscreen. It offers more dynamic aerodynamic protection and has a design that makes it a good bike in the adventure touring segment. The bike also gets new profile camshafts and a new exhaust system. Pricing and Competition: Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 NTX will be priced anything between Rs 15-19lakh. It will take on the likes of BMW R1200GS and Triumph Tiger 800XC. Its launch date is yet not confirmed.
