MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R Overview

An aggressive bike in the sector could be none other than the Brutale 1090 R with a naked exterior. It is powered by an inline four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1078 cc. The engine employs a bore and stroke of 79mm and 55 mm and comes with double overhead camshaft with four valves per cylinder. The MV Agusta 1090 R's engine delivers a maximum power of 144 hp (106 kW) at 10,300 rev / min and 112 Nm (11.4 kgm) of torque. The unit is combined with a six speed, constant mesh, cassette style removable gearbox with multi-plate clutch.
This bike comes with a fascinating design and has evolved in many details. The prominent changes seen are lighting elements, day running lights, arranged symmetrically on either side of the dashboard cover enhancing the whole frontal section, also making the motorcycle more visible. Another ray of light comes from the four-cylinder engine. The new wheels have a unique design. The multiple spokes are split and give rise to a fascinating design and at also function efficiently.
The surface finish is enhanced by its compact size and the new aluminum plate that prevents contact with the pipes has been redefined. We could see new updated features also for the new tail light along with latest technology contour illumination, and the rear view mirrors also have a revised design for the Brutale 1090. The composite frame of the Brutale is made of the high strength tubular ALS steel front section coupled to the single sided swingarm by two aluminum plates. However, size and dimensions remain the same: wheelbase of 1438 mm Brutale 1090 RR (1430mm on Brutale 1090 and Brutale 1090 R), trail of 103.5 mm. The braking system is of high quality and is floating, with steel braking discs and an aluminum disc carrier. Having tough competitors from Yamaha and Ducati, this bike stands at a challenging phase.
