MV Agusta F4 RR Overview
I am not sure if there exists any worldly object that looks as beautiful as this 18-year old motorcycle design by someone who could not afford a university education. Yes, I am talking about the bike with drop dead looks, the MV Agusta F4RR. F4RR is a motorcycle that pulls you towards it and puts you in a different dimension or a parallel world. It is commonly called as a race bike that is disguised as a street bike. The bike gets pulled with so much brutality that it makes you feel that you’ll tear your way into a new dimension.
MV Agusta F4 RR Engine & Transmission
MV Agusta F4 RR is a rare breed super bike that costs Rs. 35,71,000 in India. The hidden monster is a 998cc engine on the F4 RR, which is good for 201bhp @13600 rpm and 111nm @9600 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and weighs just 190kg. The bike shoots from 0-100 in just 2.9 seconds, which is like AVENTADOR fast. The combination of the design and engine makes it look like a lethal weapon.
MV Agusta F4 RR Mileage
While going down a straight line like a missile, the bike Agusta F4RR manages a fuel efficiency of 15kmpl, keeping the throttle fully engaged and it doesn’t take long to empty that 17L fuel tank. Among the basic features, there are 8-level traction control, electronically-assisted shift and ABS, along with ride-by-wire and 4 engine maps that control throttle sensitivity, torque, braking, rev limiter and engine response so that you can dial in the controls specifically to suit you and your riding conditions.
MV Agusta F4 RR Performance and Handling
With a claimed top-speed of 297kmph, the bike comes with a completely-adjustable, electronically-controlled compression and rebound damping with manual; spring preload at the front; and a fully-adjustable hydraulic electronically-controlled compression and rebound damping with manual, spring preload at the rear, which make the bike tackle corners like a cakewalk. The 320mm dual disc with 4-piston Brembo brake callipers at the front and the 210mm single disc with 4-piston callipers at the rear provide so much stopping power that “it can make your blood flow out your skin pores.” Just to mention, there is a beast inside the beauty.
