Royal Enfield Classic 500 Overview
Royal Enfield has produced Classic 500 with the design identical to the Classic 350 but with more power and more “thump” for which it is famous for. Classic 500 has more power and significantly more torque than the younger sibling. Royal Enfield is proud of their retro design and that can be seen in the Classic 500. The engine is powerful and really very torquey.
Royal Enfield Classic 500 Styling & Comfort
The vintage design of the Classic 500 is evident from the way Royal Enfield has worked on it. The front circular halogen headlamps, orange turn indicators looks exactly like the vintage motorcycles. The retro charm of the motorcycle is enhanced from the side due to the spoked wheels and single-seat. At the rear, there is a pair of orange turn signals with a circular stoplight. However, you can get a pillion seat as an accessory from Royal Enfield. The circular instrument console just comes with a speedometer and an odometer.
Royal Enfield Classic 500 Performance and Handling
The engine produces massive torque which feels addictive when you keep driving the motorcycle. The Classic 500 performs quite well in a straight line due to its heavyweight and power. The heavyweight will need you to adjust yourself for driving the motorcycle for daily use. There are vibrations which you will feel if the engine is revved hard. Where the Classic 500 shines is the highways where you can cruise quite comfortably at a speed of around 80kmph.
