Is there any reliability and quality issue with Royal Enfield Classic?
As per users experience Royal Enfield Classic is ok on the reliability front however it does come with its own set of issues, but then RE customers have traditionally neglected them.
This bike is powered by 346cc single cylinder, 4 stroke twinspark mated with 5 speed constant mesh transmission gears engine, which produces maximum power of 19.8 bhp @ 5250 rpm and maximum torque of 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm, ignition system is Transistorised Coil Ignition, it has wet multi-plate clutch, starting system is both kick & electric, (front) suspension is Telescopic, 35mm forks, 130mm travel and (rear) suspension is Twin gas charged shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload, 80mm travel, kerb weight is 187 kg, fuel capacity is 13.5 ltrs., brake (front) is 280mm Disc, 2-Piston caliper brake (rear) is 153mm Drum, Single Lead Internal Expanding, has 12 volt, 14 Ah battery.
The top speed of this bike is 130 kmph, the ARAI certified mileage is 52 kmpl and the mileage as per user experiences is 40-45 kmpl.
