Bike variant reviewed for: Royal Enfield Himalayan

Year of Manufacture: 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 234
  • Pros: It offers excellent mid range punch, making it effortless at overtaking maneuvers on highway.
  • Cons: But it doesn’t have impressive thump sound like Bullet for my liking and doesn’t feel quite at ease at high speed.

Full Review:

Himalayan has a well refined engine with little vibrations compared to other Royal Enfield bikes. Wide handle bars feel nice to hold. Braking performance is more than satisfactory. Seats are soft and comfortable in long rides and the rear seat space and comfort is also good. Overall quality of the bike is acceptable but I think engine could have been a little more powerful and RE should consider offering ABS for extra safety.
