In comparison to its previous models, the leading superbike manufacturing company said that the primary focus in Royal Enfield Interceptor has been on the improvement of the engine of the bike. The bike will also feature a new power plant along with a new bike frame for accommodating the latest released engine. The Royal Enfield Interceptor is the classic motorcycle range of the bike series. As the bike revives the Interceptor name, this classic cruiser is symbolic of the return of Royal Enfield to the era of twin-cylinder motorcycles.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Engine & Transmission
The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650cc Twin is the rebirth model of the legendary parallel of the twin cylinder engine. Powered by the parallel 650cc twin engine which is air cooled, the Interceptor resembles a trove of the ‘60s design staples with a 7-inch headlight. The retro-styled bike is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine. The engine is capable of generating an overall power of 47 Horse Power (HP) at 7100 rpm and a peak torque of 52 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission gearbox. The powerful engine of the bike is present in an all-new biking unit featuring the modern technology of SOHC.

The motorcycle employs a steel tubular frame, a double cradle, along with a 41 mm front fork as well as twin and coil over the shocks at the rear end.
