Bike variant reviewed for: Royal Enfield Thunderbird

Year of Manufacture: 2017 | Driven no. of Kms. : 5550
  • Pros: Looking for comfortable cruiser bike of renouned brand and being fan of Royal Enfield since childhood.. Choosing this bike I don't think I had made any mistake but few issues are there..
  • Cons: The main issue with this bike is that the front forks which are extra smooth and ok on posh and clean Highway but very annoying on rough terrain and non technical rural roads. Front brake disc and pads creates sriking loud sounds even for small ponds like old khatara bike. The pressure tube for front disk brake is looks poor and uncomfortable. Need to improve front wheel, steering, brake and suspension.. Overall remaining things are good.

Full Review:

Always use kick to start the bike if parked for hours to uniform the engine assembly else many times you have to face big breaking sounds between starting gear and crankshaft. Remember the road roughness to avoid front forks full working and mudgard dents striking on the leg guard. Front hydraulic brake tube and electronic Speedo cable are badly open and supportless, one should have careful while riding in conjusted roads with other riders or plants branches..
