Why my Suzuki Gixxer SF scrapes on speed breakers?

1 Answers

The ground clearance of Suzuki Gixxer SF is 160 mm, it is ok for normal height speed-breakers but if the speed breakers is of steep height, irrationally built, having sharp and dangerous curves then Gixxer SF or any other bike which doesn’t have high ground clearance will scrape on such type of speed breakers.

Yes, it is definitely harmful for the bike and moreover for you as you may lose balance and fall while crossing such types of speed breakers, we advise you to keep speed slow while riding over speed breakers and always maintain proper tyre pressure as low pressure will further reduce the ground clearance.
