Suzuki V Storm 650 Overview
Keeping up the verdict of launching more premium bikes, Suzuki India will be launching the much-awaited Suzuki V-Strom 650 at the Auto Expo 2018 to be held in February in New Delhi. With the Suzuki V-Strom 650, the two-wheeler manufacturing giant is expected to go for local assembly in India and therefore, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 will be arriving through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route in India.
Suzuki V Storm 650 Engine & Transmission
The Suzuki V-Strom 650 features the high-performing 645cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 90-degree, DOHC, V-twin, 8 valves engine. The powerful engine of the bike is capable of producing an overall power of around 70 BHP at 8800 rpm along with a peak torque value of 66 Nm. The engine has been mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Suzuki V Storm 650 Braking & Safety
The braking system of the Suzuki V-Strom 650 features twin 310 mm disc brakes towards the front end along with a single 260 mm disc brake at the rear end of the bike. The overall suspension setup of the Suzuki V-Strom 650 consists of conventional telescopic forks towards the front along with a monoshock towards the rear end. Additionally, the tyres of the bike are tubeless to ensure great convenience and safety in case of a puncture. The Suzuki V-Strom 650 comes with ABS.
