The TORK Motorcycles was founded in 2009 by Kapil Shelke, CEO of the company. The team led by Shelke worked meticulously on developing a zero emissions vehicle and participated in the prestigious IOM event to test the strength of their first electric motorcycle. TORK has built several performances based on electric motorcycles over the years that being a part of motoring events such as IOM TT and TTXGP, UK. Taking a leap from developing bikes for the racing event, TORK Motorcycles is now readying for its foray into the Indian Urban Commuter segment with its products. TORK T6X would be the first electric performance motorcycle from the company for the Indian market. Built indigenously, the bike is an outcome of copious research and development by the TORK team for 7 years.
