Tork T6X Overview
The all-new Tork T6X is the first-ever production-based electric motorcycle that is yet to be launched in the Indian automobile markets. Coming with a list of high-tech features, the Tork T6X has been pegged as an environment-friendly alternative to the fuel-powered commuter motorbikes on the Indian streets.
Tork T6X Engine & Transmission
The Tork T6X is propelled by the presence of the brushless 6kW electric motor delivering around 27 Nm of peak torque. The electric motor of the bike is powered by Lithium-ion batteries. Upon full charging, the Tork T6X is able to cover around 100 kms. The battery of the bike is able to get charged around 80 percent of its overall capacity within the time duration of 60 minutes.
Tork T6X Braking & Safety
The braking duties of the Tork T6X are handled by the presence of a 267 mm disc brake at the front side. On the rear end, the bike receives the 220 mm disc brake. The bike rides on the 17-inch alloy wheele equipped with tubeless tyres. On grounds of ensuring the safety, the bike comes equipped with features the GPS navigation, anti-theft mechanism, and DRLs.
Tork T6X Competitors
The Tork T6X competes with the likeness of the bike models like the KTM Duke 200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and the Bajaj Pulsar AS200 in the given segment.
Tork T6X Mileage
The Tork T6X is expected to return an average mileage of around 100km/charging with an overall top speed of 100km/hr. In terms of the overall designing, the Tork T6X has been built on the Trellis frame. However, the manufacturing company –Tork has not yet skimped about the features until now. The latest Tork T6X comes equipped with highly advanced features like the TFT all-digital touch screen instrument cluster, GPS navigation, cell phone charger, DRLs, and highly secure anti-theft systems. In addition to this, the Tork T6X also receives the specialized anti-theft mechanism for excellent experience.
Tork T6X Performance and Handling
The combination of the lightweight feature like the 130 kg motorbike along with its 27 Nm of peak torque aims at promising sprightly performance, particularly in the given range of the instant torque of any electric-based motor. Tork Motorcycle claims that the magic lies in the overall battery management system of the bike which is a sub-part of the TIROS-names system being deployed on the Tork T6X. TIROS stands for Tork Intuitive Response Operating System –which allows the proper selection of the different riding modes aimed at altering the power delivery of the bike. The advanced TIROS system is capable of updating the overall air and adding more features to the motorbike.

The Tork T6X is being manufactured at the company’s production unit in Pune. The Tork T6X has been developed from the ground-up as almost a brand-new product for the Indian markets.
