Triumph Daytona 675

Triumph Daytona 675 is a supersport motorcycle that very easily gives bigger sport motorcycles a run for their money. This bike hosts a very sporty design with a fresh engine and is more a lap-time slicing tool than a highway motorcycle. The frame of is smaller, lighter and narrower than its previous model. The suspension works well providing you enough comfort and its agile chassis gives the rider supreme confidence on twisty roads. If compared to other sports bike, Daytona 675 does offer many accessories that you will have to scan explicitly from a plug-in quick-shifter, computer adjustable ECU, Arrow exhaust etc. The R version is a more extreme version for track riders with better suspension and brakes.

The bike is powered by a mesmerizing liquid-cooled, in-line 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 675cc. The unit delivers maximum power of 116bhp at 12,304rpm and a maximum torque of 70.18Nm at 9,900rpm. Its peak power is progressive and combined with the torquey triple cylinder layout provides acceleration through low, mid and high rpm ranges. Further, the throttle of this bike holds a full potential to pump you up with adrenaline once you are in a mood to race. Along with all these features, the model also supports twin injectors per cylinder which provide more accurate fuelling. The front and rear KYB suspension is fully adjustable so that you can have a smooth ride on the track and on the roads as well.

Triumph Daytona 675 offers a decent mileage figure of about 20kmpl that varies a little up and down depending on the road and traffic conditions. If you are taking it out on the track, certainly, you can expect figures to fall drastically. 

To give this model a perfect blend of power and performance, the company worked nearly on almost all the components like engine, frame, wheels, lights etc. so that this revised model is lighter, smoother, stronger, smaller and extra responsive. Some other modifications made in this model are a bigger airbox, new swingarm, lighter wheels and a few cosmetic changes which help the motorcycle to 'cut' the air easier, thus providing an excellent aerodynamics. Its twin 308 mm (12.1 in) floating front discs and single 220 mm (8.7 in) rear disc give you a good assurance of safety when driving at high speeds. Since its powerful triple engine loves revving high, the company has provided it with titanium valves which stronger, lighter and are designed that they provide a smoother gas flow to get excellent performance throughout the rev range.
