Triumph Street Scrambler Overview
The all-new Triumph Street is the latest entrant to the contemporary classic range of the series Triumph Motorcycles India. The new range of the Triumph bikes satisfies the needs of the customers with classic styling which is coupled with adventurous capability. Though the Triumph Street is based on the existing model Street Twin, the Triumph Scrambler appears new & fresh. The bike retains the original classic look from the Triumph series and comes with impeccable detailing. The headlamp, fuel tank, and LED tail lamp appear similar to the Street Twin. The side panels of the bike are new for accommodating the changes as the bike gets its all-new split seat with classic stitching.
Triumph Street Scrambler Engine & Transmission
The motor of the Triumph Street Scrambler is the same 900cc of its predecessor the Street Twin. The 270-degree crank angle twin engine delivers around 55 PS of power which is available at 6000 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque which is available at as low as 2850 rpm. The linear power and the acceleration delivery of the bike offer it a diverse character and make it highly usable. As a rider, you can fiddle with the traction control because there are no engine maps for selection. The liquid cooled engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. You can have a perfect riding for the day with the mixture of the smooth gearbox along with torque assist clutch and the ride-by-wire functionality.
Triumph Street Scrambler Mileage
The efficiency of the Triumph Street Scrambler is 26.3 kmpl. Some of the advanced technologies which have been focused on the riders include switchable ABS, ride-by-wire, torque assist clutch, and switchable traction control. The Triumph Street Scrambler stands out from its competitors through its off-road features like rubber fuel tank grip pad, high-rise handlebars, a split seat with a pillion seat pad that tends to be detachable, side-mounted exhaust pipes, and an underbody bash plate. The motorbike is available in three colour variants including Jet Black, Matte Khaki Green, and Korosi Red Frozen Silver.
Triumph Street Scrambler Performance and Handling
The Triumph Street Scrambler makes use of the chassis of the Street Twin which has been strengthened as well as tuned for the off-road usage. The front trail and rake have increased 24.3 degrees and 98.7 mm to ensure better stability. The setup of the suspension of the bike is similar to the standard Street Twin. However, the rear shocks would ensure more travelling. The breaking through a single front as well as the single rear disc is achieved efficiently in the bike. The bike also gets the ABS that can be switched off.
