I recently bought this bike. The Thunderbird LT gets acres of chrome with blacked out look, leather saddle bags, white walled radial tires, a three-piece headlamp, a chromed two into one into two exhaust system, wire-spoke wheels and a tall windshield, all of which give it massive street presence. The Triumph Thunderbird LT comes from Triumph Motorcycles, which is trying to enter the Indian two-wheeler market. This is a strong and powerful cruiser motorcycle which matches up to its name. At the moment, the car is available only in a Jet Black color. This is a muscular bike and has been perfectly sported. The build of this motorcycle is amazing and is commendable as well as impressive. The bike comes with some amazing features, which make it very pleasing to the eye. The two-wheeler is durable and comprises of a twin spine, steel tube frame. It measures 2340mm x 880mm x 1120mm in dimensions and has a 700mm seat height, which makes it ideal for riders.

Triumph Thunderbird LT Engine & Transmission

This excellent motorcycle draws power from a liquid-cooled, DOHC, Parallel-twin, 270? firing interval type engine. The engine has a displacement capacity of 1699 cc. It is able to produce a commanding torque output of 156NM at 2950rpm and a maximum power of 92.7bhp at 5408pm. The motorcycle can help you to notch up a speed of more than 190 kmph and you can ride the bike quite smoothly in the 120 to 170kmph speed range. The engine can help you to cover long distance quite comfortably and easily. The engine has been coupled with a six-speed transmission gearbox, which comes with large gear ratios.

Triumph Thunderbird LT Mileage

The engine can help you to attain a peak mileage of 19kmpl on the city roads. On the highways, the bike is able to return a mileage of 28kmpl. According to the manufacturer, the 2-wheeler can return a mileage of 21kmpl in case you run it at a continuous speed of about 120kmpl. However, the actual fuel economy is likely to differ on the basis of how long a trip you are making, what kind of terrain you are riding on and other factors.

Triumph Thunderbird LT Performance and Handling

The bike offers a solid engine performance on all types of Indian terrains. The rides are enjoyable and highly satisfying. This is an able two-wheeler and you can fling it about with a lot of ease. The suspension is impressive and rigid, which lends a very smooth ride quality to you even when you are riding the bike at high speeds. The handling is good enough on any type of terrain, and whether on the expressways or on the city roads. The motorcycle offers a warm and decent riding position. It has good handlebars that are tilted slightly towards the rider and provides them with sufficient space. It can hold riders comfortably and allow them to have decent balance over their 2-wheeler. The motorcycle has a seat with a height of just 700 mm and this makes it even more convenient for riders to regulate the bike.
