Triumph Thunderbird Storm Overview

Triumph Thunderbird Storm is a British big cruiser and like every other cruiser, this is also big in every sense i.e. big handlebars, big fuel tank, big dry weight, and a really big engine. Though the seat height is quite optimum. Triumph basically describes 'Storm' as the pumped up version of thunderbird and if you note the specs you will find this notion absolutely correct. The engine is pretty impressive and the suspension offers really a smooth cruising on the highways. To explore all the features of this bike you have to wind on at a good throttle and the moment you hit the sixth gear you will actually be storming on the roads. The brakes are very competent and give you a feeling of security when riding at insane speeds. I ride in the twisties of Kerala, and I love it. Road presence and comfort is good. Handling is easy. Triumph service in kerala has been very good to be. Especially how they come home(70Km away) and take care of the bike before a ride. Read full review »

I totally agree with the words of Mr. Nishchay, no doubt it has a very powerful engine of 1.7 litre, but the major disadvantage of Triumph bikes are that they have very high maintenance cost and have poor service network across India. This bike is mated to a 6 speed gearbox, which makes it a pleasure riding the bike on... Read full review »
Awesome Cruising bike
Overall rating: 4.00 Reviewed By: (Guest) on 14 Jun 2015
I purchased the Thunderbird Storm in the year 2012 and had a very good experience on this bike. It has a very powerful and refined engine. It also has a liquid cooled engine, which is capable of displacing 1699 cc. A very powerful engine, good for touring and long rides what else one can ask for. Read full review »
