Triumph Tiger 800 Overview
The leading motorbike manufacturing company Triumph has laid off its first-ever 2018 adventure biking range as the stylish Triumph Tiger 800 motorcycle. The Hinckley-based bike manufacturing company claims of introducing as many as 200 engines & chassis updates to the all-new Triumph Tiger 800 bike. Primarily, the bike will be featuring the characteristic 3-cylinder powerful engine that has been improved for delivering better riding performance. The latest Triumph Tiger 800 range has brought about three new variants into the Indian automobile market –the XR, the XRx, and the XCx.
Triumph Tiger 800 Engine & Transmission
In terms of the overall power, the engine features of the bike are quite similar to its predecessor model. Powering the all-new Triumph Tiger 800 is the 800cc 3-cylinder, the in-line engine that makes around 94 BHP of power at 9500 rpm. The bike also produces around 79 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. The engine of the bike has been coupled to the 6-speed transmission gearbox.
Triumph Tiger 800 Braking & Safety
The XC models of the Triumph Tiger 800 bikes carry forward the legacy of the fully adjustable WP suspension. In addition to this, the different variants of the Triumph Tiger 800 bike are available in the form of Brembo brakes. These have replaced the Nissin units in both the top & middle specification bikes. For enhanced safety, the bike features additional electronics kit including the TFT display for the different variants of the bike.

The bike will be competing against Ducati’s Multistrada and the Honda Africa Twin in the given segment.

There are several distinctive LED DRLs along with attractive LED headlamps in the latest design of the bike by Triumph. The fuel tank side panels have also be retouched towards offering the bike a completely new look.
