TVS iQube Overview
After the launch of the Bajaj Chetak, TVS has also released its electric scooter in the market to compete with the Chetak. TVS iQube has been launched in the Indian market with aggressive competitive prices. The scooter comes with connected tech and lots of new features as this is the first scooter from the manufacturer. TVS is also offering IP67 rated battery, digital TFT coloured screen, LED lighting and a disc brake at the front.
TVS iQube Styling & Comfort
TVS iQube styling follows the sleek and minimal approach with a straight headlamp and turns indicators placed just beside the headlamp. It looks like one continuous light bar that runs through the whole front of the scooter. On the top of the handlebar, the U-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamp is placed. The side profile stays clean with 12-inch alloy wheels and "iQube" badging. The rear follows the minimal design with a straight tail lamp with turn indicators continuing on the sides. The rear also looks like a continuous light bar running across the scooter. TVS have spared no expense in the lighting department and has given all LED for the Daytime Running Lamp, headlamp, tail lamps and the turn indicators. The quirky touches include square patterns on the mat and stitching on the seat. TVS have placed many intelligent features in the scooter such as a parking assist and ample storage space beneath the seat which comes with a charging port and a light. The coloured TFT screen shows various vital information to the rider. Some of the information is navigation assist, speed, range, average speed, driving mode and there are much more. The iQube application features Incoming call notification, SMS alerts, Navigation assist, Remote Battery charge status, Last Parking Location etc.
TVS iQube Performance and Handling
TVS iQube weight is 118kg which helps the scooter to be nimble and manoeuvrable in the city traffic. Suspension duties are done telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic twin-tube shock absorber at the rear helps to keep the ride quality of the scooter compliant and absorbent. The scooter comes with two riding modes, namely Eco and Power. TVS iQube can hit 0-40 kmph mark in just 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 78kmph.
