TVS has launched the much-awaited scoter –the TVS Ntorq 125. After a series of high-end scooters by TVS like the Scooty (Zest 110 & Pep+), the Jupiter, and the Wego –the TVS Ntorq 125 is the 4th model in the TVS fleet. The TVS Ntorq 125 is aimed primarily at the younger generation of people offering high performance that matches the appealing aesthetics of the scooter. The styling of the scooter by TVS is inspired by the bold stealth aircrafts featuring some of the most striking details. While the Graphite concept of the scooter has been quite futuristic in the overall design, the production model of the TVS Ntorq 125 offers a highly sportier, yet a youth-centric look.
TVS Ntorq 125 Engine & Transmission
The TVS Ntorq 125 features a 125cc air-cooled, 3 valve, 1-cylinder engine capable of producing around 9.4 PS at 7500 rpm along with the peak torque value of 10.5 Nm at 5500 rpm. The required power to the scooter is transmitted to the rear end through the automatic V-Matic transmission. As per the claims of TVS, the TVS Ntorq 125 is able to sprint from the speed of 0 kmph to 60 kmph in a matter of 9 seconds, while reaching the maximum speed of 95 kmph.
TVS Ntorq 125 Braking & Safety
To comply with the given sporty intent of the scooter, there is a telescopic fork along with the gas-filled shock absorber. The TVS Ntorq 125 receives a 220 mm disc brake towards the front along with the 130 mm drum brakes towards the rear end. The underneath boot space of the scooter is equipped with the generous 22-Litre storage area coming with a mobile charging port as the standard.
