TVS Radeon Overview
TVS Motor Company has launched a new 110cc bike, Radeon, with price starting at Rs. 48,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike has been positioned between the TVS Sport and the TVS Victor. At present, this bike is available only in one variant. However, the company has said that more variants will follow soon.
TVS Radeon Styling & Comfort
The TVS Radeon isn't a radically-styled bike but has a typical commuter design, yet the bike is well-proportionate. The bike is built around a single cradle frame, which makes it extremely nimble, a trait that is a boon on traffic-clogged streets.
The bike features a stylish petrol tank with subtle lines and a ribbed tank pads for thigh grip. The length of the bike is 2006 mm with a height of 1070 mm and it is pretty slim with a width of just 705 mm. The ground clearance of the bike is decent at 180 mm and it weighs 112 kg. The bike runs on 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, which are shod with 90/90 section tubeless tyres. The features like knee pads on the fuel tank, the golden brown engine cover and the brown seat imbibe a premium feel to the bike.

The handlebar is wide enough for a comfortable posture and yet sleek enough so that one finds it easy to filter through traffic. The bike comes with a telescopic oil damped front suspension, and a 5 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber. The suspension feels comfortable and it can be made stiffer or softer according to the rider's and pillion's weight. Also, the skinny tyre makes smaller contact patch, which means lesser rolling resistance, resulting in better fuel economy.
