TVS XL 100 Overview
To keep up with the changing time and help boost sales, TVS has launched an updated model of TVS XL100. The moped is already one of the highest-selling two-wheelers in India. The new model comes equipped with a more powerful 99.7cc, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine. Compared to the previous generation, it is quite a big leap ahead in terms of design and power.
TVS XL 100 Styling & Comfort
The revised design of XL100 will attract more buyers. The updated moped is built on a rugged chassis and looks attractive and a bit more contemporary. It features a bright multi-reflector headlamp, which comes with chrome surround around it. There is a decently-designed graphic job on the fuel tank. While the rear profile still looks plain.
In terms of dimensions, the TVS XL100 measures 2,020 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1,110 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 1,215 mm and it comes with a 4-litre fuel tank (including 1.3-liter reserve). The kerb weight is 80 kg and the maximum payload limit is 130 kg. The XL 100 runs on 16-inch wheels shod with 2.50 - 16 41 L 6PR tubed tyres on both ends. TVS offers this moped in six colour options – Red, Silver, Blue, Black and Green.
TVS XL 100 Performance and Handling
The XL100 offers a hassle-free riding, as it is lightweight and there is no need for manual gear change; you just need to start and go. The moped will satisfy a lot of owners who would be using it for daily commuting and in-city duties. The suspension duties of this moped are handled by telescopic spring type hydraulic up front and a swing arm with hydraulic shocks at the rear. Its soft suspension does a good job of dispatching speed breakers and potholes.

Powering the TVS RX 100 is a 99.7cc, 4-stroke single cylinder engine, which churns out a peak power of 4.3 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 6.5 Nm @ 3500 rpm. The engine is mated to a single-speed gearbox.
TVS XL 100 Braking & Safety
The XL100 is equipped with 80 mm front and 110 mm rear drum brakes. Brakes perform their duties well at moderate speeds.
