Which bike is better between Yamaha Fazer FI 2.0 and Pulsar AS 200 by cost efficiency and quality?
This is not a fair comparison as both are different segments bikes, Yamaha Fazer FI Ver. 2.0 is powered by 149cc Air cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine while Pulsar AS 200 is powered by 199.5cc Triple spark 4- valve DTS-i engine.
Suspension (front/rear) in Fazer FI is Telescopic / Monocross while in AS 200 is Telescopic with anti friction bush / Nitrox mono shock absorber with Canister.
Brake (front/rear) in Fazer FI is disc/drum while in AS 200 has disc brakes on both wheels.
As per users experience the city mileage of Fazer FI is 45 kmpl and mileage on highway is 50 kmpl while the mileage of AS 200 in city conditions is around 37 kmpl and on highway is 42 kmpl.
Ex-showroom Delhi prices of Fazer FI as on 15.10.2015 is Rs. 87,305 while of AS 200 is 93,552.
So, considering all these points Pulsar AS 200 seems to be a better choice on cost efficiency point of view as within ex-showroom price difference of around Rs 5,000 it is offering 50cc more power, better suspension, disc brake on both wheels, it is a great value for money but comparatively low on mileage as it is a 200cc bike.
