Also, Yamaha has worked on the engine to make it BS-6 emission norms compliant. FZ is always known for its nimble handling and peppy performance. FZ-S Fi colours offered by Yamaha are Darknight, Dark Matt Blue, Matt Black, Metallic Red and Green and Cyan Blue.
Yamaha FZ-S Version 3.0 Styling & Comfort
Yamaha FZ-S Fi comes with a naked streetfighter design language with updated technological improvements. The front gets a LED headlamp with a Daytime-Running Lamp. The muscular fuel tank now looks even chunky due to the tank extensions which are even longer now and now there is also an engine cowl to enhance the sporty appeal of the bike. The rider gets a new digital instrument cluster which now comes with negative-LCD technology. The cluster shows various vital information to the rider like speed, trip meter, fuel gauge, horizontally placed tachometer and odometer. The tell-tale lights are placed around the display. The new single-piece seat is adopted in place of the split seats as it is more comfortable for the rider and the pillion. The seat height of relatively low 790 mm should be accessible to riders of every height.
Yamaha FZ-S Version 3.0 Performance and Handling
With a kerb weight of 137kg, the motorcycle is easy to handle and manoeuvre for the daily city use. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork in the front and a 7-step adjustable monocross suspension at the rear. The ride of the motorcycle is slightly on the stiff side but you can soften it up by adjusting the shock absorber at the rear and the 120mm of wheel travel ensures that it absorbs all the potholes and bumps on the Indian roads. The engine feels peppy and responsive in the low-end due to the torque available.
