The front façade of the two-wheeler complements the FZ25 with almost identical front axle featuring a raised indicator and a compact headlight. Yamaha FZ 3.0 design comes with an R1 styled cockpit, all-digital instrument console and LED taillight. The company has integrated alloy wheels, which are equipped with the recent-gen disc brakes. However, the tubeless tire at its rear axle isn’t inspired from the one observed on FZ25. The side profile is somewhat similar to the FZ V2. Overall, the visual modifications are significant with the major changes being found on the seating arrangement of the motorbike.

The engine of the new Yamaha FZ Version 3.0 took a jump with the 3rd gen Yamaha FZ, which has arrived with improved fuel efficiency and better power delivering capacity. The improved engine is having a decent mileage as well as an improved acceleration. The engine also endorses the variable valve actuation system, which promises to provide a great grip on bumpy and irregular roads. This VVA mechanism automatically sets off when the vehicle crosses 7,400 rpm.

Some major changes are apparent in the third-generation Yamaha FZ 3.0 with the replacement of the split seats with a nicely designed single seat that seems pretty comfortable at the first glance. Overall, the motorbike gets a comparatively leaner and better aesthetics than its predecessors. The bike is revamped with LED headlights, tail lamp and turn signal lamp.

Under the hood, the bike gets a single cylinder, SOHC fuel-injected Blue-Core, 4-stroke engine that has the power delivering capacity of 13 bhp @ 8000 RPM. The engine produces a peak torque output of 12.8 Nm @ 6000 RPM. Its 2-valve petrol engine, which comes mated to a 5-speed transmission gearbox, has the displacement capacity of 149 cc.

Both the front and the rear wheels of Yamaha FZ Version 3.0 are integrated with discs. The bike gets 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tires. It has telescopic front suspension system while the rear axle features Swingarm suspension. Coming to the safety elements, the Yamaha FZ Version 3.0 features a step-up seat, passenger footrest, digital console, digital trip meter and odometer, tachometer, and speedometer. The bike also features ABS for better handling and low fuel indicator warning.
