Bike variant reviewed for: Yamaha Ray

Year of Manufacture: 2013 | Driven no. of Kms. : 7000
  • Pros: Good for the ladies and slow speed. Good for marketing as any other bike in its class. Good for a quick run about in heavy traffic. Good big seat. Good suspension. Good comfort overall. Good at speeds below 60kmph. Good position for the rider. Ok mileage.
  • Cons: The front tends to rattle, can get annoying. The engine is sluggish at speeds above 60kmph and you can feel and hear the engine slogging. Needs better crash guard mounting facility. Foot pegs are a bit far ahead for the pillion and tends to hit the riders legs. Potholes can potentially kill this bike at medium speeds.

Full Review:

The ray is good for short city commuting and for ladies. Definitely not meant for the highways though. Overall build quality is good and strong, but the front fairing tends to rattle. Service is good as long its carried out in a timely manner otherwise the bike feels like a boat. Overall 7/10
