Bike variant reviewed for: Yamaha Saluto

Year of Manufacture: 2015 | Driven no. of Kms. : 8500
  • Pros: I took this bike because Yamaha has a reputation of low maintenance bikes. The bike is comfortable, stable at high speeds, gives me a mileage of 67 kmpl in city and 69kmpl on highways with a speed of 50-60 kmpl. Design is good, best bike for long runs. Light weight still stable on highways and don't wobble. Firing great, suspension superb.
  • Cons: Initially the gears are a bit hard, but get smoothen after the servicing. There is a slight vibration at speed of 60 kmpl but this does not increase with the speed. There should have been more marketing of such a great bike.

Full Review:

In the initial days I drove the bike at a speed of 45 kmpl as told. Now I go with a speed of 50-60 kmpl. This helped the bike parts to get smooth. The bike is good at corners and sticks to the ground. The suspension is great and handles the sudden jerks. The bike is confortable at long runs. One does not get tired or does not have an issue of back pain after a long drives. I highly recommend this bike if you are looking in 125 cc category. It is all that you are looking in a bike. The promising mileage of the company makes this bike more special. It is positioned much above than the other bikes in same category. I am more than satisfied and am a proud owner of Yamaha Saluto. Thank you Yamaha bringing this bike
