Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Expert Review

Aston Martin is definitely a force to be reckoned with and whenever that name is imprinted on a vehicle, you know you have something special to work with. The Vantage series from the credible car manufacturing company came into being in 2005 and has been since one of the more elegant cars in the market. The V8 model for the same is the base version and is definitely competing against a strong pool of cars including Porsche 911.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Exterior

There is no denying the fact that Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol is one of the most well built cars in its segment and has the right mix of elegance and flair that one expects from a sports car. The paint job is superbly and aesthetically while quite a few changes have been implemented in the car compared to what Aston Martin V8 Vantage was a few years ago. There is a new bumper with better engine cooling facility while the chassis has been changed as well.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Interior

Once again as far as the interior is concerned there is nothing to complain about and a lot to brag about with hand stitched leather upholstery dripping sophistication from all angles. The S symbol on the insides further adds a hint of uniqueness to the car.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Engine & Transmission

Although on paper Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol does not look bad at all with 4.7-liter V8 engine churning out 420HP along with a 361lb torque at 5000rpm but we would wrong if said that this is the best you can get for its class. Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol price range has a lot of strong competitors that are certainly ahead when it comes to easy with which they can take on difficult roads and sharp corners even though V8 Vantage does a fine job itself. Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol has a 6-speed manual transmission while optional 7-speed manual is available as well.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Mileage

With a car as exquisite and elegant as Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol, the mileage is not that pleasing with 8kmpl. But drivers would not mind compromising on it as long as it drives them around with grace and style.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Braking and Safety

Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol comes with standard parking sensor and airbags while it also has side impact beams and extruded bonded aluminium VH body structure. There is also a tracker system which would keep the car within reach in case it is stolen.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Performance and Handling

For a sports car with Aston Martin embedded on it and its price range, we expect a lot more fire power and comfort when it came to performance and handling. However we were disappointed not because of what we got but because of what we potentially could have had. The car is fast and agile without a doubt but there are questions to be raised when it comes to its handling or rather the smoothness of it.
  • Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Verdict

A great sports car in our view but is this the best of its class and price range? We think not. Porsche 911 and Audi R8 should certainly be given a crack at before Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe Petrol.
