Audi A1 Overview
The Audi India has launched a wide range of models in the Indian luxury SUV segment, and it will be launching the entry level sports utility vehicle in near future. The Audi A1 exteriors may feature the LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and LED tail lights. Theinteriors will have the seats with electric adjust and memory function, leather upholstery, automatic climate control system with multi-zone cooling, and the infotainment system with touchscreen display and smartphone integration. The safety features of surround protection airbags, park assist system, driver alert system and pedestrian protection system can be expected.
Audi A1 Exterior
The Audi A1 exteriors will feature the new LED headlights with daytime running lights and new design radiator grille with vertical chrome surrounds, and the bumper with stylish contours. The side profile will have the electrically adjustable ORVMs with LED indicators, and the body color door handles, and new set of alloy wheels giving it a dynamic stance. At The rear, the new design LED taillamps, broad bumpers with cladding and the tail gate with Audi logo and glossy color options will get it a distinctive on the road image.
Audi A1 Interior
The Audi A1 interiors will have the electrically adjustable driver and co-passenger seats and rear seat with armrest and cup holders. The multi-information display instrument cluster with display of average fuel economy, key status of the vehicle and driver alerts for safe driving. The comfort features of automatic climate control system, air cooled glove box, power windows, utility features of bottle and cup holders at key locations would be offered. The new infotainment system with touchscreen display, surround sound system, smartphone integration and navigation features would assure a comfortable drive for all seat occupants.
Audi A1 Engine & Transmission
The Audi A1 specifications may be available with the 1.5liter petrol engine delivering power output of 115PS and 1.5 liter petrol version with 150PS. The transmission system will have the seven speed S-tronic transmission system with Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.
Audi A1 Mileage
The Audi A1 Mileage can be expected to be around 15kmpl in standard driving conditions. The actual mileage figures may vary depending upon the final configuration of the vehicle specifications including kerb weight, drive mode selection and the driving conditions. On an average, a mileage of 10kmpl in city and up to 13kmpl on the highway can be expected.
Audi A1 Braking and Safety
The Audi A1 braking system featuredisc brakes on all wheels with dual circuit diagonally split design and ABS with EBD and BA for efficient braking over all surface conditions. The safety features of driver and co-passenger front airbags, side and curtain airbags, seat belts with pretensioners would be featured for safety of the occupants from collision impacts. The park assistance system with surround view camera, audio and visual alerts and driver alert system would be featured for safe handling of the vehicle.
Audi A1 Performance and Handling
The refinement in performance of the engine and the efficient dynamics of the body and the electromechanical power steering with speed sensitive steering assures a wonderful experience of driving the car. The drive quality would be further enhanced with stability control system, drive mode selection feature for getting a good fuel economy or sports performance as desired by the driver. The well cushioned seats with ample leg space and head room, and the electronic stability program assures perfect comfort for all seat occupants.
