It would not be a fair deal and advice if tell you to choose Diesel mill or Petrol mill. Every thing comes with its own difficulties and benifits as like we all are already aware of the fact Diesel Mill is known for its low running cost but high maintance cost and on other hand Petrol mill is know for high running low and low maintance cost but befor taking your final decision you should keep in mind Audi engineers are knw for their one of the most finnest engineering so its takes very experinced senses with engine responses to point out the diffrences this should conculde that wheter you choose diesel mill or petrol choice is your i.e. you have to decide which one of these is right choice which fullfill your needs.

Both are efficient and power packed cars, however, there is not only the slight difference of petrol and diesel but also the engines and the way they deliver performance makes a difference huge. There are 5 diesel variants in which Audi Q5 is available with a price range of Rs. 49.5 to 63 Lakh while its three petrol trims cost Rs. 47.6 to 53.4 Lakh. There are two diesel engines including 2.0 and 3.0 TDi of Audi Q5 and 3 petrol trims with the same 2.0 engines.
Both, petrol and diesel models of Audi Q5 are very good. It completely depends on your requirements and budget. Cost of petrol model is less as compared to diesel model; also the maintenance cost of petrol model is less than the diesel models. Power, pick up and acceleration of petrol model is better, unless you are planning to buy its top end 3.0 TDI Quattro model.
There is a very common formula for choosing petrol or diesel model of any car, if your monthly running is more than 1000 kilometers then go for diesel model, else go for petrol model because buying cost and maintenance cost of diesel models are usually high than petrol models. You can apply the same formula on Audi Q5 also. But, if you are looking for power and pick-up then go for its 3.0 TDI Quattro model.
The Audi Q5 is available in four diesel variants in India. The Petrol version is available with 2.0 Ltr. engine in Q5 crossover fleet. Both the diesel and petrol version are equally good in terms of performance. However, diesel vehicles do ask for higher maintenance after passage of 7-8 years. Petrol, being a cleaner fuel, do not choke the fuel lines as the diesel does even after prolonged period of use. Further, no matter how much well insulated your cabin is, the operating noise of diesel do percolates inside the cabin.
