BMW 7-Series Exterior
The 2019 BMW 7 Series hosts the most prominent chromed kidney grille. It stretches all over the latest contoured bonnet and the front bumper, which hosts the new chrome highlights. The front fascia includes laser lights, automatic headlamps with LED DRL’s, fog lamps in the front and rear, intelligent cornering lights, body-coloured ORVMs, and electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs. BMW has made a mindblowing effort in the refinement of the panoramic sunroof and the new front wings for improvised airflow. Also, the brand has made changes to the noise-killing material used in the arches of the rear wheel. The rear section of the car gets heavy-structured OLED taillights along with graphics on the new lens. It is linked via a full-width LED light band which illuminates in compilation with DRL’s. Additionally, the 7 Series Facelift gets a much wider chromed tailpipe trims coordinated with the bumper along with 20-inch alloy wheels.
BMW 7-Series Interior
The 2019 BMW 7 Series interior comes with leatherette upholstery, chrome-finished inside door handles, electrically-adjustable front seats with memory function, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. Additionally, there is an electrically-adjustable headrest in the front seats, four-zone Air Conditioning, electric tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, keyless and push-button start/stop, anti-glare mirrors, and all-ventilated seats. An upgraded park assist function is now also sporting a reverse assist which is capable enough to back up the car by 50m distance on the course it is driven. Additionally, there is a touchscreen 12.5-inch infotainment system which receives OTA updates, 6 speakers, steering mounted audio controls, voice command, rear seat display and navigation system.
BMW 7-Series Engine & Transmission
Talking of the 2019 BMW 7 Series specs, it gets a fettled 6.6-litre V12 engine which is capable to generate a max power of 600bhp @5400rpm and a peak torque of 850Nm @1750rpm. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission accompanied by paddle shifters, whereas there is an all-wheel-drive system mechanism in the sedan as well.
BMW 7-Series Mileage
The BMW 7 Series Facelift mileage comes around 8kmpl whereas the hybrid variants in the lineup render a mileage of around 39.2kmpl as per ARAI mileage certification.
BMW 7-Series Braking and Safety
The braking responsibilities are managed by dual disc brakes and are accompanied by regenerative braking. The safety features consist of 8 airbags, middle rear 3 point seat belt, traction control system, ESP, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, TPMS, parking camera and an automatic parking system.
BMW 7-Series Performance and Handling
The 2019 BMW 7 Series safety features include an adaptive suspension which comes as standard and features electronic-controlled dampers and air springs active on every wheel. The top model of the 7-Series quite sufficiently cruise from a standstill to 100kmph within 4.1sec with a top speed limit of up to 249kmph.
