- Pros: performance
- Cons: fuel efficiency, faulty parts
I have been driving the BMW M5 for the past few years and I agree with sunil and sushant that the car is not very fuel efficient. You need to stop at the fuel station quite often. Running on petrol makes it even more expensive. But apart from that the car provides excellent thrill ever time you hit the road on a high speed. Apart from simply looking great the M5 performs exceptionally well. The high power engine like rahul said is just right for long drives on the highway where one can simply zoom off in style. Not once do I ever lose control over the car. I did face some trouble with the clutch slave cylinder, the blown amplifier and the faulty oil sensors initially. But once sorted I have an enjoyable experience every time I hit the road. The M5 have very comfortable seats and a very well planned interior that gives a sophisticated feel and look, just the thing expected from BMW.
