BMW X6 Boot Space Capacity
BMW X6 has a boot space of 580 liters
The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover vehicle built by the German carmaker BMW. Although the X6 scores high when it comes to engine performance and exterior design, boot space falls short of expectations. According to BMW sources, compared to the X5 model, the X6 has managed to find extra 75 litres of boot space in the new X6. Presently, the boot space of the X6 is 580 litres. The rear seats split 40:20:40 to offer some flexibility in space, while folding them all down increases the total load capacity to 1525 litres.
The X6’s sloping roofline means its maximum luggage capacity lags behind its main rivals, the Range Rover Sport (1,761 litres) and the Porsche cayenne (1,780 litres). The BMW X6’s body shape also means the boot opening isn’t as large as the Range Rover’s or the Porsche’s. Furthermore, the boot’s lid makes it more difficult to slide heavy items in. However, the positive side is the automatic boot release, which allows you to access the luggage compartment by simply sweeping your foot under the rear bumper.
