Why does the engine of my Chevrolet Beat stall when I turn on the AC?

In my opinion the conditioning might be adding more load and amplifying any existing problem your car already has. It's possible the air conditioning compressor is causing excessive drag on the engine (compressor failing), this can be checked by removing the belt and spinning the compressor by hand. It should spin freely and firmly, if it's very hard then this will cause a stall. Other possible reasons are faulty fuel pump due to bad connection or low battery. I advise you to contact a skilled mechanic to diagnose the cause of the stalling issue and fix it.
