Is Chevrolet Cruze available in diesel version in India?

At present Cruze is available in diesel version only.Considering the responce its getting from customers and diesel version being most preferred one for long drives.Ehances of launch of petrol version is less.
Most of the cars of the Chevrolet family are available in diesel and petrol variants. However, the Chevrolet Cruze which is one of the best creations of Chevrolet till now in India is available only as a diesel version. The users have noted the car to be quite fuel efficient and gives a decent mileage in city roads. As of now the company has no plans of launching a petrol version of the Cruze in India.
The Chevrolet Cruze, the compact sedan from Chevrolet which is known for its fuel efficiency, style and elegance is available only in diesel variant currently in India. The company has no plans of launching a petrol version or an LPG version of the Cruze which can make it more popular. Probably the reason is that the diesel cars are always said to give greater mileage than petrol run cars. The diesel run Cruze is noted to be very fuel efficient.
Most of the people believe that the diesel cars to be more fuel efficient and it’s true as well. This is true because diesel run cars give more mileage than petrol versions of the car. Honda has a name for themselves of making more diesel variants than petrol, but now The Chevrolet Cruze comes as a diesel variant car only. The company has no plans of launching its petrol version sooner or later.
The Chevrolet Cruze is available only in a diesel version in India at present. The Diesel run Cruze being low on running cost and fuel efficient is found to be satisfactory among the customers. This is another reasonthis car become one of the most favorite car of sedan class among people. The launch of the petrol version of the Cruze is not in the agenda of the company as of now.
Chevrolet Cruze is currently available in only diesel versions in India to serve the increasing demand of the buyers for the diesel variants. However, the makers are planning to bring out the petrol trims as well that also have a boosted up demand. There are three diesel trims; LT, LTZ and LTZ AT available in India. This is noteworthy that the LTZ AT comes with an automatic transmission while the rest have manual. They all have the same 2.0L, 4-cylinder, 16 valve engine with a displacement of 1998cc.
