Is there any specific problems with Sail?

Chevrolet Sail is updated in both petrol and diesel versions. The Smartech petrol engine delivers excellent mileage figures of around 18kmpl on average and in diesel version you can expect for around 20 to 21kmpl on average. There are no much problems with performance of Sail. However there are occasional complaints of lower ground clearance due to which there is regular underbody hits when moving over road humps and as such. A cautious driving when pproaching a road hump would help a lot. Suspension quality is also good but not up to the mark when driving over completely spoiled roads such as the ones in towns and cities especially during rainly seasons.
Being a budget Sedan, there are some features of the Chevrolet Sail which are not as good as competing Sedans at higher prices in the market. The mileage figures of the Sail are pretty impressive, with the petrol version managing to deliver an average of 18 kmpl and the diesel version offering 21 kmpl. The lower ground clearance has garnered some criticism. The car’s performance may be hampered on bumpy roads due to this reason.
There are many good aspects that adorn Chevrolet Sail U-VA, however, it lacks on some aspects as well e.g. the absence of airbags in the lower end variants is something that really does not impress the buyers at all. In addition, the low fuel-economy drills the wallet the car owners and they end up spending a huge share of their income each time while fueling. The poor ground clearance of this hatch makes it loosing vehicle, especially when it comes to get copping up with Indian roads.
