Chevrolet Spark has a fuel tank capacity of 38 liters

The entry level small car from Chevrolet, Spark, comes with a decent fuel tank capacity of 38 litres. This fuel holding capacity is enough for a hatchback. When compared to rivals, Chevrolet Spark is at par with the senior hatchbacks in the Indian market but the new entrants into this segment have been bestowed with a larger fuel tank. Tata Bolt, the stylish looking hatchback from Tata Motors, comes with a much larger fuel tank capacity of 44 litres that is 6 litres higher than that offered by Chevrolet Spark.

Toyota Etios Liva, another recent addition to this segment, also fares better with 45 litres of fuel tank capacity. Other entry level hatchbcaks like Maruti Alto K10, Maruti Alto 800, Hyundai i10, Datsun Go, Hyundai Eon etc. all lag behind Chevrolet Spark in this respect as these all come with a smaller fuel tank capacity of 35 litres only.

In case you often drive long distances, a 40 litres and beyond fuel tank capacity will be good for you. On the other hand, if commuting between home to office is what you intend to do with your car, you may consider even 30 Litres to be sufficient as well.
