I have an offer for 2009 Chevrolet Tavera for 7 Lakhs what to do?
By: Krishncharan on 19 june 2014
There is considerably good resale value for Tavera. Some of the Tavera 2009 models are available inrange of 7.5 Lakhs or so. However the resale value depends lot on present condition, features available such as if it’s a 10 seater or 8 seater or 7 seater like that. When a 10 seater is available at lower price tag, the similar model of 7 seater with captain seat would cost more as it features better seat combinations with seperate seats at middle row. Thus offering better feel of being seated in a comfortable posture and so on. The present condition and offer are the points that carry major importance. Considering overall parameters, its worth considering the offer.

See, according to my knowledge this is not a bad deal but you should go through the entire feature of the car. I think resale value depends on various factors, like present condition of the car, how many kms the car already driven, its mileage and much more. So, be a smart buyer, don’t take decision just because of the cheaper deal. I agree, it is a good car but I will not take decision blindly.
No doubt, it is a good deal and I would surely like to suggest you to think about it. According to my knowledge, in 2009, Company offered some models in the 7.5 or 8 lac range so it would be a good buy for you but make sure you check all other essential features of the car. So, check out all the parameters like its space, present condition and so on.
I also believe it can be a good buy and worth considering offer. I am driving this car from the last two years and I have a good experience with this car. It is very spacious and comfortable as well. Generally, the price ranges 7.5 - 10 lac so if you are getting an offer to buy it in 7 lac then it is definitely a very tempting offer. You should think about it!
Chevrolet Tavera is a workaholic car, it has very low maintenance and has minimal features and a carefree engine. So the chances are that the model you are getting might be in good condition. The price however is on a bit higher side because add up a little bit more and you can get a new one. So try negotiating on that one. But do not decide anything until n unless you see and drive the car yourself.
