Child Safety Locks (ISOFIX) , Low Fuel Warning Lamp , Door Ajar Warning , Fasten Seat Belt Warning , Headlight Reminder , Key out Reminder and Basic braking system is installed in the name of safety systems. These above mentioned installations is not a big list but these installations are enough for this family car because this MPV hardly reach 140km/hr at its top speed and light body design helps in better and efficient braking.

Datsun Go and Go + has been manufactured by Datsun as a value for money products. That's why the company has made a lot of compromises on safety features. The Outer sheet metal is thin. There are no airbags even in the top end variant. However, Go+ offers some features like follow me headlamps with long range, wider front glass for greater visibility, shorter braking distance with 22mm disc brakes, advanced suspension system for greater stability at high speeds, engine immobiliser and manual central locking etc.

All the variants of the Datsun Go Plus are blessed with the standard safety features like -point ELR front seats, third row two point seat belts, child lock, engine immobilizer. However the top variants i.e. GO PLUS T and GO Plus T (o) are also equipped with the central locking system. Apart from that, the Go Plus T(o) also has driver seat airbag. this has improved the safety standards of the vehicle. however, it has been crticized for not introducing ABS in any of its models.
