|In India there is always the challenge for all manufactures to get good fuel economy figures as like Maruti Suzuki who are well known for launching products which shows good fuel economy figures, no matter how much sluggish performance does car shows. Through Datsun go Plus the Datsun engineers want to show that they also can do miracle of creating an MPV car which can carry 7 people but still shows good fuel economy numbers as in this MPV fuel economy numbers revolves around 20.31 kmpl and best part performance is not at all compromised.|
If you are manufacture then you know that if you want to survive in Indian market then you should launch cars with good fuel economy and your biggest competitor is Maruti Suzuki because they are well known for launching cars with good fuel economy. IF take case of Datsun Go+ then story is different because till date there is no such manufacture in market which provide car with 7 seats and comes with compact body design and finally manage to provide good fuel economy numbers of 20.3 kmpl. Overall this car is perfect fuel economical car with good seating space.
More and more for less and less is what we Indian crave for. Datsun Go + has been designed keeping this desire in mind. It is basically the same Datsun Go with a third row. The power mill at its heart is the same 1198 CC petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. This engine gives ARAI certified mileage of 20.62 Kmpl. However, one can expect it to give around 15-16 Kmpl in city rides and 18-19 Kmpl on highways runs. Judicial use of clutch and air conditioner may bring significant impact on fuel efficiency.
