Which car should I buy between Datsun Redi-Go and Renault Kwid if I am looking at a vehicle under Rs. 3.5lakhs? Also, since it is going to my first car, which will be easier for me to maintain? Finally, is there an extended warranty option for Renault Kwid?

The Datsun Redi-Go is a very good vehicle in the price range that you are looking at. Its major rivals are Maruti Alto800, Renault Kwid and Hyundai Eon. The Redi-Go is equipped with a 799cc engine with a fuel efficiency of 25.17kmpl which is very competitive in this price range. The vehicle has an aggressive look due to the large hexagonal grille in the front. The Kwid on the other hand has a tall stance and has a SUV like design. This vehicle gives a sporty look and is becoming a hot seller as well. The Alto 800 and Eon are around the same price and have been in business since many years now. Though these latter vehicles have been sucessful but they have old designs with modest features. Therefore, in my opinion you should go in for the Datsun Redi-Go as it is equipped with a lot of features such as Engine immobilizer, child safety lock, heater, front seat pockets, body coloured bumpers etc. and an engine which is quite promising. The only problem which you can face with the car is its maintenance costs but that is something which you will have to deal with in the Renault Kwid as well.
