Why does my Datsun Redi-Go make noise while reversing?

There may be many possible causes of a car making noise while reversing, but mostly it happens when the gear is not shifted properly, it takes some time to wiggle into gear at first instead of the typical smooth transmission and as a result, there is a grinding sound, it is from the dog teeth that are trying to fit into the holes in the gears. The other possible causes of noise while reversing a car are - ball joint or tie rod seizing up, some internal issue in the transmission, some issue in the drive line or could be brake rotor backing plate rubbing etc. I advise you to take your car to your local Nissan service center for proper diagnosis and solution.
