Could you please give me a brief idea of the pros and cons of Fiat Punto as I want to gift it to my son?

I own the 520D Luxury variant of BMW 5 Series, which I bought some times back but I have a mixed feeling after driving this sedan. The drivability of the car is amazing and it really performs well no matter how odd the conditions are. Its fuel-efficiency is fine and despite having such a huge engine its mileage is not bad. However, there are some issues that I have faced after buying this car and availability of centers in India is one of them. I always have to cover a huge distance from my place to get the service of my car done. First of all, they have only a few staff members at the service center where I usually go. Second, when I take my car there, they ask me to wait the entire day or take the car after two days. Both the conditions are unbearable for me and I feel pissed off. So, if BMW can resolve these issues, their loyal customers will feel blessed. However, this sedan does not offer me a great fuel-efficiency but its fine for me and I can compromise in this area.

Fiat Punto Evo have almost equal amount of cons and pros like good fuel economy leads to slight underpowered performance, good suspension system but low on ground clearance, price tag is low but overall maintenance is quite high. some of major flaws are engine noise at high speed and crowded rear seats while major advantages are good looks, easy to park and drive and spacious cabin with efficient boot. Overall Fiat Punto Evo is the decent car with decent figures which are acceptable.

Fiat has always been struggling to capture the Indian small car market and it seems even after launching Punto Evo, they have not succeeded. The hatch is great in looks, has great built with a solid muscular design, has a strong body, generous legroom and headroom etc. It has all modern day safety and comfort features but the issue is that all these features are available in top end variants which cost a lot for a hatch. So, it does not remain a value for money offering. The Design is a forte of Italians and it is evident in Punto Evo too. Further, the fuel efficiency is also a major issue with this hatch.
