Falling under company's One Ford plan, the Ford EcoSport sub-compact SUV is based on company's B-platform, which is also shared by its Fiesta sedan. It was showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo as a Concept car, while the production version was launched in India on June 26, 2013 in both petrol and diesel guises, with starting price of Rs. 5.59 Lakhs and 6.69 Lakhs, respectively (Ex. Showroom, New Delhi). Ford EcoSport was launched in four trims - Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium (O).
