Ford endeavour competes with Toyota Fortuner, Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Pajero, Hyundai SantaFe, Chevrolet Captiva, Renault Koleos and Mahindra XUV500. Fortuner is the market leader with its rugged looks and beasty engine. Koleos, SantaFe and CR-V are five seaters and will be of no use for bigger families. Pajero and Captiva though being better, lack a decent after-sales service and customer support. XUV500 is the complete package since it has large service network, all features, powerful engine and costs ?10L less.

Ford Endeavour has definitely grown old and current market is being flooded with new age SUVs and especially mini SUVs. People are flocking to them, ditching these big bulky beats who attract abuses when they walk the crowded Indian streets. In old school competition, there are the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Captiva and Hyundai SANTA-Fe. In new age SUVs there are the Mahindra XUV and Renault Duster, which apart from being more classy in design, cost a way lot then Endeavour. Nonetheless, Toyota Fortuner is the best competitor of Ford Endeavour which can be definitely considered against this American elephant.

Ford Endeavour locks its horns with the SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero and Hyundai Santa Fe. However, out of these only Ford Endeavour comes with the lowest price tag. One of its other contenders can be Mahindra XUV 500. All the cars are available with the diesel fuel option; however, the engine types are different. Fortuner comes with a 3.0L while Santa Fe and Pajero are powered by a 2.2L and 2.5L engine types respectively. The mileage of Fortuner is 9.25kmpl in city and 12.55kmpl on highways and Santa Fe offers 10kmpl and 13.01kmpl. The mileage of Pajero is 11.5kmpl and 13.5kmpl.
