The endeavour though having a huge engine is tuned for more power and an adventurous ride than speed, but still it can outrun any other car on the road! Its 2.5L engine with manual gearbox takes this beast to 100kmph in just 13 to 14 seconds and to a top speed of 160kmph. The higher versions having a 3.0L mill with 5-speed automatic gearbox can run at 165kmph and accelerates to 100kmph from a standstill in just over 14 seconds
Ford Endeavour SUV is available with two engine options for the buyers to choose from. The entry level trim is powered by a 2.5-litre engine is paired with a five speed manual transmission gearbox. This trim has the ability to achieve a top speed in the range of 155 to 160 kmph, which is quite good. On the other hand, its mid and top end versions are fitted with a 3.0-litre mill that is coupled with a 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox. This motor enables the vehicle to reach a top speed of approximately 160 to 165 Kmph.
Ford Endeavour is a big SUV that is available in both 2.5 litre diesel mill and 3L diesel mill variants. The 2.5 litre diesel mill 4x2 MT version that has a displacement capacity of 2499cc is integrated with a variable geometry turbocharger. This helps the motor to pump out a commanding power of 141bhp that results in developing a peak torque output of 330Nm allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 160Kmph. The 3.0 litre 2953cc diesel motor on the other hand is based on a DOHC valve configuration. This power plant can generate 153.86bhp in combination with a hammering torque output of 380Nm. This massive power allow this trim to reach a maximum speed of 165Kmph.
Car is really a fast SUV with speed equivalent to Toyota's Fortuner. It has got higher torque as well. The massive power that it exerts is really worth this SUV's while. Car has got high performanc with total sweep over its all previous models. One can drive at desirably high speeds without any substantial increase on fuel consumption. Thus we conclude that speed is not an issue with this SUV.
