Himanshu Singh's review on Ford Endeavour 3.2L 4X4 AT Titanium
Year of Manufacture : 2017 | Driven no. of Kms. : 1300
- Pros: Choosing a nearly 40 Lakh SUV was a not a easy process for me. I checked all competitions before finalizing my decision over Endeavour. As everyone knows Fortuner is the leader in this category and my family was also in favor of it. But as we saw the interiors of Fortuner it looked like a sub 20L cheap product. It was even worse than my 6 year old Safari Dicor. Looking at the long feature list one cant ignore the segment first creature comfort in Endeavour. To point out some Parallel park assist, Panoramic Sunroof, four drive modes, Electric tailgate, Electric 3rd row seat, Active noise cancellation and many more. Fuel economy is also fine getting consistent 9-10 kmpl from this mammoth with 200 bhp and 470 nm torque. Driving it in city or highway is a breeze. Never short on power slight tap on accelerator will pull this behemoth easily. Last but not least it is way better than Fortuner.
- Cons: I think light could have been a bit better like Fortuner with BiBeam LED. Not a big fan of Keyless entry system but no harm in having that either. Apart from this I dont see any disadvantage in Endeavour.
Maybe very few knows that Fortuner is priced much lower than Endeavour in international markets. Endeavour competes with Pradao and is clearly a segment above than Fortuner. The herd mentality in India has brought a huge number of persons to Toyota.
