I am confused between the Ford Figo Aspire and Hyundai Xcent. Please guide.

If you wish to buy a petrol car, I would suggest you to go for the Xcent petrol. In case you prefer diesel, you can go for either one. The petrol motor on the Figo is lethargic. Hyundai has comparitively lower running costs, the difference is only marginal though. Both the cars are equally well equipped, the Xcent offers rear ac vents which the Aspire does not.
Both the cars are well featured, Ford Figo petrol engine is bit powerful than Xcent. Mileage figures are almost same for both cars in petrol segment. Hyundai has relatively low running costs and its service centres would be easily figured out. I would recommend you personally take a test drive for both the models before making any decision as both the cars are equally good and fully featured.

I wish to buy a compact sedan or a compact SUV. I have shortlisted Ford Aspire but I am worried about its long term running. Also, can we expect a facelift of the Ford Aspire in the coming 2016? What changes are expected?
I booked a Ford Figo Aspire Titanium Plus recently but have been hearing a lot of complaints regarding the same. I’ve heard that since it’s a new car, it is facing electrical and mechanical faults. Should I wait for some time so that Ford can correct the issues and offer more stable models? It is also being said that Ford is using cheaper parts for this model. Is that so?
