I wish to buy a compact sedan or a compact SUV. I have shortlisted Ford Aspire but I am worried about its long term running. Also, can we expect a facelift of the Ford Aspire in the coming 2016? What changes are expected?

Ford Aspire is a very good choice in the compact sedan segment mainly due to its high mileage of 25.83 kmpl offered by the 1.5 TDCi variants. One does not need to worry about the life of the engine as Ford is a very reputed and technologically sound company. Apart from this, the company offers a warranty of 2 years with 1,00,000 kilometres as well. You can always go in for the extended warranty also.
The long life of any engine or car depends upon how it has been driven and whether proper care of the vehicle has been taken care or not. Many times it has been observed that due to lack of information people do not get their vehicles serviced regularly and do not ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle, this in turn disrupts the long life of the vehicle as parts begin to get worn out quicker. One should always ensure timely service from an authorized service station exactly as per the manufacturer’s manual and adhere to it strictly.
As for the facelift of this vehicle, it has been announced but sadly it will be launched by 2018 only and not before that as per the official statements. The facelift variant is expected to be equipped with an infotainment system for better experience and utility. There has been news that Ford is building a better technology as well that will sync all the applications like GPS, voice command etc. in this display screen in a much better way.

I booked a Ford Figo Aspire Titanium Plus recently but have been hearing a lot of complaints regarding the same. I’ve heard that since it’s a new car, it is facing electrical and mechanical faults. Should I wait for some time so that Ford can correct the issues and offer more stable models? It is also being said that Ford is using cheaper parts for this model. Is that so?
