Is it worth to buy Ford Figo Aspire Titanium 1.5 TDCi compare to Dzire?
By: Jayant on 3 september 2016
In my opinion “Yes”, as Aspire Titanium 1.5 TDCi has more powerful engine compare to Dzire hence it produce better power and torque, there is almost no turbo lag, power delivery is linear although engine gets little noise at high speed. Dzire also performs well on city road and on highway, the claimed mileage of Dzire VDi is little better than Figo Aspire, but there is a turbo lag at lower rpm which leads to frequent gear change especially in city. Both the cars scores well in ride and handling department as they handles all sorts of bumps and undulations without any problem,
Dzire’s suspensions offers relatively better comfort on city speed while Aspire’s suspensions are little better on highway and also feels more planted than Dzire at high speed, cabin insulation is better in Dzire at high speed. Swift Dzire offers extremely comfortable cabin, seats are well cushioned, the interior quality is top-notch but the interior fit and finish of Figo Aspire is not as good as Dzire, the quality of plastic is quite acceptable.

I wish to buy a compact sedan or a compact SUV. I have shortlisted Ford Aspire but I am worried about its long term running. Also, can we expect a facelift of the Ford Aspire in the coming 2016? What changes are expected?
I booked a Ford Figo Aspire Titanium Plus recently but have been hearing a lot of complaints regarding the same. I’ve heard that since it’s a new car, it is facing electrical and mechanical faults. Should I wait for some time so that Ford can correct the issues and offer more stable models? It is also being said that Ford is using cheaper parts for this model. Is that so?
