I am confused to choose between Ford Aspire (diesel) and Baleno (petrol), my daily running is 50 km in city driving?

In my opinion Baleno (petrol) would be more suitable for your need, it fulfills the role of your daily city car with great drivability in the traffic, it has been engineered for city driving and that’s where it performs the best while Figo (diesel) is more of a tourer. Space wise also Baleno is better than Figo. Though the build quality of Figo is little better than Baleno. There is not much difference between the mileage of both cars, the claimed mileage of Figo (diesel) is 25.8 kmpl and of Baleno is 21.4 kmpl, so you would save only around Rs. 1,200 – 1500 monthly on mileage as per your daily running but also the maintenance cost of diesel cars is generally higher than petrol ones, so the amount you save on mileage doesn’t make much sense. Also the price of Figo (diesel) is also 60-70K more than Baleno. Talking about the after-sales service, the Maruti Suzuki is known to be the best in the business with low cost of maintenance.
